Your first Visit

We’re glad you’ve decided to trust Carolina Restorative and Implant Dentistry with your oral health needs. At your first visit, we feel it’s important to establish a baseline assessment of your entire mouth. This examination will include the following activities:

• Patient interview
• Soft tissue evaluation (cancer screening exam)
• Masticatory muscle evaluation
• Occlusal (bite) evaluation
• Supporting structures evaluation (gums and bone supporting teeth)
• Radiographic evaluation

Our goals are:

• To identify existing problems
• To explain the implication of those problems if left untreated
• To determine the best plan for restoring health, function, esthetics, and comfort to our patient’s mouth for a lifetime.

The information collected allows Dr. Holland to diagnose and develop a custom treatment plan that accomplishes your agreed-upon goals. This comprehensive specialized approach to your oral health has proven success in our practice.
